A great summer of Junior Golf

If you have been at the club a lot over the summer you will have noticed that our junior section here at the club is going from strength to strength and is something we're extremely proud of having grown so successfully over the past few years.

With junior numbers now at record levels we have increased the amount of Junior Competitions this summer and ran an extremely popular Order of Merit series which was sponsored by the Drawshank so a huge thank you to them for their support of the Junior Section over the summer.  This 7 event series culminated in our Junior Championships held on Friday 23rd August with the full results below:

Gross Winner & Club Champion - Archie Durman (81)

Nett Winner - Robert Charles (Nett 67)

9 Hole Stableford Winner - Sam Hillier (19pts)

Drawshank Order of Merit Winner - Robert Charles

A huge thank you has to go to David and Seb who have worked tirelessly to grow the junior coaching at the club which has ultimately led to an increase in junior participation and the standard in the junior section is only continuing to improve.
